Jeanefer Jean-Charles is a Mass Movement Director, Choreographer, Teacher and Creative Consultant with over 20 years’ experience of devising, creating, facilitating and directing dance and movement for performance.
Jeanefer’s work is celebratory, powerful and exciting to watch. In recent years, Jeanefer has become a ‘go to’ name for clients who want large scale dance and movement performance which draws together and brings to life the talents, strengths and shared stories of local communities, young people and artists in inspiring and unforgettable ways.

Jeanefer’s clients and previous projects include the London 2012 Olympics Opening Ceremony, Isle of Man Commonwealth Youth Games Opening Ceremony, Greenwich & Docklands International Festival, RADA, Rugby League World Cup, Walt Disney, Institute of Civil Engineers, East London Dance, Walk the Plank, Liverpool Capital of Culture, Kinetika, Buckingham Palace Coronation Concert, Derry City of Culture, Big Dance, FA Cup Final – Wembley and Roald Dahls City of the Unexpected.

Jeanefer’s unique creative process and passion for nurturing and developing artistic talent means she is an exceptional  Creative Consultant. She has led training and mentoring for artists and producers across the UK, advised and supported arts organisations with strategic plans and to develop work in schools and local communities and leading projects with disadvantaged young people.
